Our Story
Harvest View Greenhouses has a rich history that dates back over 30 years when owners Dennis and Carol Willebrandt purchased the farm in 1984. Their journey began with years of hard work and dedication to stewarding the land, gradually bringing life back to the grapes, fruit trees, and vegetable row crops that thrived on the property for many years.
The story goes that Dennis, decided to grow flowers for the ladies working the farms vegetable and fruit stand that once stood along Route 20 and is no longer there. His first attempt as a self-taught grower yielded an abundance of flowers, a testament to his attention to detail and persistence for perfection.
Over the years, Dennis’s passion for plants and commitment to excellence transformed Harvest View Greenhouses into one of the premier garden centers in Chautauqua County. Known for their high-quality plants, the greenhouse has become a beloved destination for gardening enthusiasts near and far.
In addition to serving the local community, Harvest View Greenhouses also provides wholesale spring and fall plant material to garden centers within a 150-mile radius, further cementing their reputation as leaders in the industry. The farm has become renowned for its spring annuals, perennial offerings, hanging baskets, and flowering potted crops. Moreover, in a testament to innovation and adaptability, the operation has transformed into an agri-tainment destination in the fall, offering visitors & families a unique and enjoyable experience amidst the beauty of the changing seasons.
